The Artist

Riz Sotelo is an independent artist graduated from the University of the Philippines. Her work explores the dialogue between abstract expressionism and minimalist negative space, serving as a way to process how she navigates the world and reflects on human connection and life’s evolving moments.

As her practice evolves, her ultimate goal is to explore the use of sustainable media and innovative materials. By pairing raw emotional expression with creative sourcing, she aims to push the boundaries of contemporary art while making the most of what's already here.
